July 28, 2012 - One World Foundation Opens Baltimore Residential Rehabiliation/Reintegration Facility!

The One World Foundation is Proud to announce the opening of our Baltimore Residential Rehabilitation/Reintegration Facility at 3414 Forest Park Avenue in Baltimore, MD 21206. This is a monumental step in acheiving our goal of helping Ex-Offenders, Homeless Veterans, and At-Risk Youth receive the long term residential treatment that is so desperately needed for these individuals to get back on their feet and transition into society. We at the One World Foundation feel that with the proper reintegration support, which includes vocational training, completion of Primary Education, and Job Placement, these individuals stand a much better chance at breaking the cycle of poverty, homelessness, and re-incarceration that has plagued so many of the members of these three Groups. In opening this Facility, we are asking for any help that citizens throughout the State of Maryland and even the Country can lend. Whether it be in the form of financial support, material donations, or simply volunteering your services if they are in the form of carpentry, electrical work, or Marketing (to create community outreach marketing tools). Remember that all items purchased through the wish list will go directly to the Baltimore facility and will benefit the Clients of the One World Foundation. Any help that can be given is greatly appreciated and all donations are tax deductible charitable donations. We thank you for all of your support that you have given the One World Foundaiton in the past; without the support of our partners and sponsors this monumental accomplishment would have not been possible. Now we need to take the next step and make this facility the best facility possible to help the members of our community that need it the most. Remember, "Together, We Can Make it Happen!".

One World Foundation and Reveran Kevin Scott ( CEO of College C.A.R.E Company) just met today and agreed to work together hand and hand to help all At Risk Youth in the DMV have a proper School supplies, scholarship and to meet their educational needs doesn't matter their race, color, and where their come from because all kids deserve a better education to succeed in life and contribute the most they can in society.

NewsChannel 8 is Washington's only 24/7 local cable television news operation providing breaking news, weather, politics and more for the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia. We are looking forward to a start of a great relationship, as we recognize and appreciate the value and impact of Washington's ONLY Bilingual news program. Cheers!

After a successful back to school with our At Risk Youth, OWF just partner with YMCA Youth & Services in Silver Spring MD to help immigrants, poor kids and families in Montgomery County and will visiting them on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 at 11am and Community Family Life Services in NW DC at 2pm. Your continuing support and volunteers are always welcome
